World’s largest solar park completes operation in India

With the official commissioning of the 300MW photovoltaic project by Indian renewable energy developer Hero Future Energies, the total installed capacity of the Bhadla Solar Park has increased to 2.245GW, and has been promoted to become the world’s largest solar plant price industrial park. The projects in the park are now fully operational.

It is reported that the Bhadla Solar Park covers more than 14,000 acres and is located in the village of Bhadla in the Jodhpur region of Rajasthan, which was jointly developed by multiple entities. Among them, Rajasthan Renewable Energy Co., Ltd. (RRECL) has constructed a 745MW project through its subsidiary RSPDCL; Rajasthan Government and IL & FS Energy Development Corporation’s joint venture Saurya Urja has developed 1GW; Rajasthan Government and Adani Renewable Adani Renewable Energy Park Rajasthan, a joint venture established by Energy Park (a subsidiary of Adani Enterprises), has developed a 500MW solar project.
